Another collaboration with the incomparable @iamamajane Every time I hear this girl sing, I’m blown away all over again. One of the coolest things is her interpretation of the melody, as it’s always different with each take, always interesting and never over-sung. We recorded this completely live, in an “interesting alley”, in Glasgow, Scotland. Some fellers were having a go at the old crack pipe but they left shortly after we started – not their vibe I suppose. 🙂 What a blast!! Thanks for @mattdeasonmusic for the cinematography!

Check out the new video. Well it’s new for you. It’s actually been some time since we recorded this song, but now it’s available for your viewing and listening pleasure. In a way this seems like a lifetime ago, as the world has changed a lot since the three of us were all in the same country, let alone together, playing music in the same room.
I don’t even know how I stumbled upon this song, but it really caught my ear right away. I checked out a bunch of live versions, but unfortunately the band was playing with the original recording backing tracks, so it sounded a bit stale. I’m not a fan of playing with tracks – to say the least. This arrangement is what I would do with the song live, if I was Sigrid’s music director. 😉 ….although I’m sure she would not be as popular if that was the case. 😜Enjoy and be good!
